Carol Ciotto

Carol Ciotto is the Assistant Dean for Accreditation and Partnerships in the School of Education and Professional Studies at Central Connecticut State University and a professor in the Department of Physical Education. Her career spans roles as a physical education teacher in West Hartford, an assistant principal in Hartford, and a principal in East Hartford. She has held leadership positions within CTAHPERD, including Vice President for Physical Education and Dance and President-Elect, and has contributed to strategic planning efforts for educational development. Carol has received numerous honors, including the CCSU Excellence in Teaching Award, the Connecticut Association of Schools Program Award, CTAHPERD Elementary Teacher of the Year, Hershey’s National Excellence in Teaching and Service Award, and CIAC Outstanding Coach of the Year.
