Amanda Amtmanis

Amanda Amtmanis has been a dedicated K–5 teacher in Middletown Public Schools since 2000. She attended the RULER Institute at Yale University to support the implementation of social-emotional learning practices within her school community. Amanda was named CTAHPERD Elementary Teacher of the Year in 2014 and served on the 2024 Physical Education Standards Revision Task Force as well as a standards trainer. She is an experienced presenter at local, state, regional, and national levels and has held multiple leadership roles within CTAHPERD, including Region 1 Director, Executive Council Vice President for Physical Education, and President. She is widely recognized as an innovative presenter on timely educational topics.
